Cameron Norrie secured the biggest success of his career by coming back from a lost first set to overcome world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the early stage of the prestigious indoor tournament.

Norrie, ranked 31st globally, also stopped Alcaraz's dominant streak of nine finals in a row and 17 successive Masters 1000 successes, which marked the best series of outcomes in the Spanish star's early professional path.
